California Antique Road Map 1936
This California Antique Original Road Map was published by Gousha in 1936 and was "Prepared Exclusively for the Standard Oil Company of California". The map itself shows the U.S. numbered highways in red, has an index of cities and towns with the population figures for each town from the 1930 U.S. Census data, and small insets of Fresno, Sacramento, San Diego and San Jose on the front side.
The back side of this California Antique Road Map features a United States Highway map with time zone boundaries. Other insets on the back side include the Lassen Volcanic National Park, Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Also shown is a California mileage chart showing the shortest distances between cities in California.
