To us History Buffs, Eastern Europe is usually defined as everything that was behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War but now it encompasses East of Germany & Switzerland.

This Map covers Italy, Greece and the Balkan States and also overlaps slightly with Romania, Hungary and most of Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic States. 

It's a combined road and railways map, showing motorways and major highways, fast train routes in red and regular services in black.
